Away with Dan for a few days in Yorkshire. Mixed bag of weather, camping for a couple of nights at Keld at a lovely campsite. A little pedalling and a caving trip before adjourned to D&T's near Hawes. Kayaking on the Ure for Dan, then a wet morning on the Ingleborough nature reserve, whilst I took it easy. Middle Washfold to Great Douk on the Monday, Slipstones for a couple of routes and some bouldering on the Wednesday. photos and video to follow soon.

1284m on rowing machine, afternoon in office

Quick trip to the allotment before lunch. First of the strawberries picked and eaten, tadpoles have started to get back legs and the Blackbirds eggs have hatched.

1256m on rowing machine, would have been more but I had to stop to pick up my mp3 player. Not feeling bad despite some altered sensation and stomach discomfort, but no headaches.  Shiatsu session to follow then home for lunch with Karin.  Afternoon in the office until just after five, then home to see Lottie and Dan who have broken up for their hols.

What had meant to be an easy morning covering the office ended up with me having to give a presentation at the work away day. Back to the office after lunch.

Ended up spending all day in the office.  Evening with Dan on the river, considered paddling myself but thought it best to take a short walk with Peggy instead.

Long day in the office, for me anyhow.  Lottie has an even longer day at school with after school practice for Preforming Arts then home for Maths revision and prep for tomorrows English exam.

1270m on the rowing machine this morning, not feeling too bad.  Home to do some work then a trip to see the GP in the afternoon.  Results of blood tests haven't flagged anything unusual up, and the GP is of the opinion that I may as well continue with the Asprin, Simvastatin and Folic Acid, but can ignore the Dipyridamole as it is only shown to have a significant effect in the first two years.  As I'm coming up to the 18 month point he's not sure that they will be able to do much more for me, but the appointment next month with the Neuropsychologist will hopefully present me with ways of dealing with the altered sensation.  It was I thought a fairly positive meeting with the GP.

Dan entered the Slalom event on the river tonight, and won a medal first in his age group :-)

 Feeling a little fragile today so another easy day.  Trip to the allotment with Dan to install the bird table he's built, and put some plants in around his pond.  Lottie's strawberries are looking good.

An easy day with a few hours work thrown in and a little eurovision watching, well it was on in the background.

Heavy workshop to start with not too bad but took it easy on the rowing machine to finish the session with 1200m.  Home for a rest, some work, then back for a Shiatzu session.  Finished with an hour in the office before heading home.  Karin away in Newark and Lottie at a Ceilidh, Dan and I end up watching a rubbish remake of Sinbad.

Morning in the office, followed by a couple of site visits, home for a bite to eat then out again for a site meeting. 

Better nights sleep but still feeling a little out of sorts. Back home for a nap after a morning in the office.

Poor nights sleep and feeling a little rough today, so after a morning in the office I returned home for a nap, before a little more work.  Early night I think

1251m on rowing machine just a little better than last week.  Home for a rest and lunch then into the office for a few hours.  Evening spent at the Canoe Club watching Dan doing some slalom training which ended with a jump in the river.

The rush that is the start of the plant sale. Back with a car full of plants, to pick up a slightly wet Lottie just returned from her DofE expedition.

1249m on the rowing machine ended the heavy workshop session this morning, back home for a rest than work.  Dropped some lunch off for Karin at the allotment before nipping into the office for an hour or so, then a site visit before heading home.

Lottie off on her DofE training expedition this morning, it's a little overcast so hopefully a little cooler during the day and warmer at night for her.  Morning in the office after voting, then a couple of site visits before finishing the working day at home.  This evening's project was to build a bird box for the allotment.

Morning at work, feeling a little rough but seemed to improve a little during the day.  Site visit then home before taking Dan down the river for kayaking.  Arrived a little late this evening so went for a walk to catch up with the paddle power crew racing the bell boats.

Back to work today, work from home in the afternoon.  Karin and Dan down the allotment in the evening (there are now four eggs in the blackbird's nest), while I help Lottie pack for her DofE training expedition.

A day taking it easy.  Karin and Lottie to the allotment in the morning, the blackbird nest that has appeared in the shed now has two eggs.  Head out in the afternoon to take Peggy for a short walk, check on a couple of likely projects, then over to Ible to pick up Dan.  End up watching the last half of Kick Ass before heading home to get ready for school and work in the morning.

 Another day taking it easy with a little planting on the allotment this morning of broad beans and spuds.  A very tame robin seemed very interested in any worms that were uncovered.  Home in the afternoon to cook with some of the spinach that had been gathered.
